Its The Tag Thing Again

Thinking that I have managed to escape doing the tag after Ruby Ahmad accidentally deleted her tag posting and bragging to the world that I won't have to do the tag was a great mistake. Rita Ho immediately put the tag on me as she couldn't bear the sight of me grinning from ear to ear after escaping the tag by Ruby. Like it or not how could I not be sporting enough to do it after being tagged by such great friends especially one who is recuperating from a broken leg? So Ruby, for your pleasure and Ruby's pleasure of seeing me answering the 35 or so questions, I give you my sincerest answer as only an honest man could do it. I hope none of the readers will be pissed off by my honest answers. Other wise just dont continue reading beyond this point.

Since you have chosen to carry on reading, don't blame me if you are pissed off.

1. Name one person who made you laugh last night.

My grand daughter Nur Alya Jazlin. She said that the smell of my fart was so bad that it could have killed a small animal. A seven year old girl speaking her mind.

2. What were you doing at 0800?

Walking with my wife to Pasar Tani Shah Alam near the Shah Alam Stadium. It is there every Sunday morning. It was quite a big one and you could get many things there. I bought a second hand transformer to bring down the 220 Volts of the Malaysian electricity to 110 Volts suitable for my daughter's radio which was bought from the US. At RM20 it was a good buy only to find that the radio was not in a working condition.

Pasar Tani Shah Alam as seen from the balcony of my son's apartment.

3. What were you doing 30 minutes ago?

Reading Ruby Ahmad's comment that now there are two hounding me since Rita Ho has ganged up with her to get me to do the tag.

4. What happened to you in 2006?

I retired from the government services. At last I was free what I had been dreaming of doing. Doing nothing.

5. What was the last thing you said out loud?

Never remember saying anything aloud. My memory must be failing me now. Sign of old age catching up on me.

6. How many beverages did you have today?

I have to plead senility again for not remembering how many. Anyway do you really want to know?

7. What color is your hairbrush?

The last time I checked myself I was of a different gender than the one who uses the hairbrush.

8. What was the last thing you paid for?

Ah this was too recent to forget. I paid for the second hand transformer at the Pasar Tani.

9. Where were you last night?

At my sons's place in Shah Alam. Were you expecting me to be somewhere else? No way when my wife was with me hahahaha.

A flowering Bungor tree (Lagerstroema speciosa) being used as landscape around Brunsfield Service Apartment in Section 13 Shah Alam.

10. What color is your front door?

The last time I was home it was in dark brown. Could have changed if my wife paid somebody else to repaint it just to surprise me after being away fom home for a month.

Can you see the color of my front door? I cant.

11. Where do you keep your change?

My trouser's pocket. Who knows I may need them to ride the RapidKL Bus again tomorrow and they require the exact amount.

12. What’s the weather like today?

About 30 degrees C. Cloudy. Can't describe more details.

13. What’s the best ice-cream flavor?

I love the one with the yam flavour. Must be the kampung guy that I am being raised on tubers and all those kinds of food.

Reading great comments from friends on my latest postings on my blogsite.

15. Do you want to cut your hair?

Yes when it is abit longer. I do it once in every 3 weeks.

16. Are you over the age of 25?

Yes. How I wish to be 25 again so that I can relive my life, avoid doing all the mistakes that I made.

17. Do you talk a lot?

Depends on the topic and who is engaging me in the talk. If it is Pak Idrus of in passing - malaysian, of course I will talk alot as he loves to talk to each other.

18. Do you watch the O.C.?

What is O.C?

19. Do you know anyone named Steven?

None. I guess Steven Spielberg dont count right?

20. Do you make up your own words?

No. There are enough words in English and Malay words to communicate with. At the worse I can always fall back on my Kelantanese dialect. Do you want to know who did? My youngest granddaughter, she coined a few new words. It sounds something agaaga or something and I can't decipher what she mean't by that.

21. Are you a jealous person?

Who isn't? Even my good friend U Lee became one when a certain Tony walked away with his girlfriend.

22. Name a friend whose name starts with the letter ‘A’.

Ashaari Amin. He told me he has the technology to detect breast cancer at an early stage. I will give you his contact number should you ever need his services. Remember, If it has reached the stage of a lump it is already quite too late.

23. Name a friend whose name starts with the letter ‘K’.

Kamaruddin. I won't tell you more about him.

Can't think of anybody. Everybody seems nice to me. I will tell you when I meet one someday.

30. What was the last thing you ate?

Fried banana, Do you want some?

31. Will you get married in the future?

How could I? Though I can marry another three wives, my wife won't let me.

32. What’s the best movie you’ve seen in the past 2 weeks?

Never see a movie anymore since I started blogging.

33. Is there anyone you like right now?

I will skip on this one. Naming one will make the others jealous.

34. When was the last time you did the dishes?

I do it everyday. Showing a good example to the grandchildren is good as everybody should chip in to help do the house chores.

35. Are you currently depressed?
Yes. I have yet to find a way how to tell my wife that I bought a new notebook which she will never approve. Please God help me.

36. Did you cry today?
Not yet. I will only cry after reading U Lee's sad story. Since no new one was posted today I havent cried yet.

37. Why did you answer and post this?
Ruby Ahmad reminded me thet there are now two ladies hounding me to do this tag. That means at least there will be two readers who will be reading it. What more could I ask?

38. Tag 5 people who would do this survey.
Is this really a survey? What are you studying? I cant think of five people who loved to be tagged. I think the following 2 people will do it:

j.t of 'JAQUI's CURVE'

fye_d.flowright of 'Flying Without Wings'

Is there anybody else who wants to be tagged? Just indicate it in your comment and I will add you to my tag list.

Pak Zawi said...

Puteri,
Told you, the child just spoke her mind.
My wife brought along some a=gelenggang leaves and I have been drinking the drink after boiling some of the leaves. Let us see if it reduce the toxicity of my farts hahahaha.

Hey Zawi! You don't go around make this Global warming lagi worse, huh! Holy Smoke! If your grand daughter says can kill an animal??? I bet she meant a kerbau!
See!!...You have been eating too many of your obat hutan? I can't spell or pronounce their names.
Don't tell me you ate Petai also? And durian same time? Plus Kelantan salt fish too...PHEW! Eeee! Can kill an animal!! By the way, maybe can do business, put in bottle,...use for war time, like poison gas? Arhaaa Ha ha.
Hey! Is that Shah alam? Holy Smoke! I stayed that town for 6 months wayyyy back in the very early 80's, now ada o/head train too or is that a water viaduct? Haven't been there since.
You sure one big joker, Zawi. Enjoyed reading your Tag, ha ha.
You belum menangis yet? My cherita belum keluar? Ha ha. Next one no crying, you raise your eyebrows instead, *wink*.
Ahaa ha ha, your isteri has not discovered your designer laptop yet?
You better standby tidur in the kitchen when she finds out...maybe balek kampong to Pasir Mas, your pillows all put into the living room, arhaaaa ha ha.
Zawi, you better take up this course, "How to manage your wife and have a happy marraige", Or 'How to Ninja your wife and have a happy life', ha ha. Just kidding, my friend.
Okay, I got to go clean the snow from my car...snow too high, can't see my tires. Thought somebody stole them, ha ha.
Pssst, tell your isteri your son bought the laptop for your birthday, he forgot last time. Otherwise you need my help, send telegram, I come over goreng her for you? Ha ha. See ya. Lee.

Hello Zawi,

I tagged you cos I know you would do a great tag and this one is really hilarious. How could it be hilarious when you're being honest? You're funny lah!

I always love kids. They are so unpretentious and true to form. Your grand daughter must have observed right..ha ha.

Le t me tell ya what my twins did. They followed their grandfather to the bank a few times. They saw the security guard a few times in the same uniform. One day they braved themselves and asked the guard, 'Pakcik tak pernah basuh ke baju pakcik?' (Sir, don't you ever wash your clothes?') They were only 6 then! Ha ha.

If all of us were as honest as kids and cleared the air spontaneously, there will never ever be cold war between us. Right Zawi?

Men can marry 4? I don't think it is as easy as that!! There are deeper studies now and there are rules stricter rules now (taken in context of needs)..we'll discuss this issue another time, I commented just to create great tension amongst you guys! LOL!

Hey enjoyed your answers and so happy Rita tagged you too. I tagged JT too but mine's gone..he he.

U Lee,
You are right. The food we ate gave the flavout to the fart. I wouldn't have thought that she would compare the pungent smell as to be as toxic as a nerve gas to be able to kill a small animal as a kerbau. Can't be bottling it as a weapon of mass destruction as you suggested though as the gas emitted changes from day to day. Otherwise I could make a fortune from it.
You people must be made of very strong stuff as any reference to such things don't seem to piss you off at all.
The pictures of Shah Alam just showed the overhead roads that they are constructing everywhere. You wont be able to recognize the place and drive around anymore.
Shhhhhhh. Dont mention the laptop. She is sitting on the settee directly nehind me but looking at the TV. I will find someway some how.
I will come over to Canada to learn wife management from master U Lee himself.
About the tyres covered in snow, just pee on each tyre and the warm pee will melt all the snow away.

zaitgha,
Would you like to be tagged by me? I will be glad to add you to the list. Just say yes! and you will be on the list.

Pak Zawi said...

Ruby,
Now I must thank you for tagging me. B ecause of you tag, Rita tagged me.
Yes, like my grand daughter, your twins just spoke their mind. We can't blame them because we teach them to tell the truth, nothing else but the truth. They will learn up to be more tactful in due course.
Don't worry I won't be excercising my rights. If I can't be buying a new laptop with my own money, you think I can do anything else? Hahahahaha. Anyway I am not the marrying kind. One is enough for me. I am blessed with 4 children and 6 grandchildren so far and one will be coming soon in March next year. What more could I ask?
As for your missing tag, don't worry too much about it. They are still fresh in our minds.

Hi Zawi

I will be back to read your answers to this tag thoroughly. I had to drop by before logging off tonight to thank you for re-tagging me.

As I had mentioned in Ruby's blog that since I have posted my last word for 2007, readers will have to wait for 2008 to read my answers. :D
(If for any reason, I feel up to it before the year ends, I will do it then.) *keeping fingers crossed*

I shall return. :)

Pak Zawi,
Hahaha, this one is hilarious! The 'hounded' Pak Zawi did it right(",).
Your grand daughter is sweeeeet. Your biological weapon...don't use it for 'qurban' hahaha.
About the twinhead...have you found a trick to back you up?
You are going back home to Pasir Mas? Man, I am still wondering will the ticket home do me any good, or will I have to pass it to someone else? Gual Periok literaly has become a 'Pulau'. You know what I mean? Worst case scenario, I will have my Raya at Sunway Pyramid hahaha.
You have a good day Pak(",).

Pak Zawi said...

j.t.
If we have to wait another year to read your answers so be it. That next year will take at least 14 long (lunar?)days. I hope I will still be around blogging by then.Meery Christmas and a happy new year to you.

Akmal
I am still praying to Allah to find a way around. InsyaAllah, he will show the way.Afterall it is not something sinful that I am doing. Just a matter of a divergent priority. Her priority is different from mine.
My son will be driving for home. So we tompang him la. Heard there is a section of the Gua Musang Road damaged. Need to keep abreast of development to determine which way to go back by. Worst come to the worst we will wait till after the Raya which will be bad really since I have already fixed the Golden Sand Club for the second day of Raya.
Dah blog mengenai lawatan ke rumah Pak Idrus?

Unknown said...

Don't worry lah pak. Yours is a good deal anyway.
Makan2 kat rumah Pak Idrus? Belum blog lagi pak. Gambar2 banyak rosak. My fault actually. Salah setting ISO, pastu tak check gambar2 yang dah ambik. Saya rasa kena install balik aje dia punya firmware.
Yes, it was on yesterday's news I guess, ada tanah runtuh kat Gua Musang. Where, I cannot say for sure. The best way to go home for now is Kuala Krai. Tu pun dah on red alert. I guess I can make it to Pasir Mas, but not Rantau Panjang. Tomorrow will be when I'll make my decision to return home or not. Kalu tak balik, saya beraya main Ice Skating kat Sunway Pyramid hahaha.

Pak Zawi said...

Akmal,
Main ice skating macam celebrate Xmas la.

Rita Ho said...

Hahaha! Zawi ... You have raised the standard for honest hilarious tag answers! Some of your answers made my foot tingled. Seriously. Thank you for doing it, so promptly some more.

I can't see the Pasar Tani in the pictures. Is it inside that square building? I used to frequent one near PWTC but it was on open space and I was told they all are, like pasar malam.

Have fun at your second MRT!

Pi Bani said...

Just make sure you don't fart at a public place ya? Nanti tak pasal le pulak ada orang call 999 takut ada terrorist dah lepaskan biological weapon...

Good luck about the notebook!

NaNa said...

Pak Zawi,

That was hilarious, especially the fart part!

Are you still in Shah Alam? Brusfield Apt is very near my place. I stay at Sri Acapella, which is about 2 minutes drive away. Too bad that I'm out of town now.

Pak Zawi said...

Rita,
Pasar Tani is an out door affair. The tents were partially hidden behin the raised highways. They are just like any pasar malam except that it is done during the daytime.
I am happy to see you smile at the answers. Hopefully the broken bones felt happy too and cure itself soon.
Actually Ruby has tagged me sometime ago but I didn't get any ideas until that comment came from my grand daughter and the rest was easy. I need the killer to start the tag.
I wont forget to take a shot at the bowl of mee rebus at the coming MRT. I have already obtained permission from Kak Ton to bring 5 big mouths and 5 small mouths to be fed with the mee rebus.

Pak Zawi said...

Pi Bani,
I will have it in locked mode so it won't misbehave in public. I won't dare shame my family by getting a similar remark from my grand daughter at Kak Ton's MRT tomorrow as this loose cannon girl will be there too.
Thank you for the wishes. There will be a birthday party for her tomorrow so I am gonna sneaked in the laptop for her to give it to me on her birthday. Do you think that will work?

Pak Zawi said...

Nana,
We will be spending the final night at Brunsfield tomorrow. At the moment I am in Amanputra.
Brunsfield has lost many tenants to Acapella. Acapella is definitely more comfortable and posh. One Datuk who lives opposite to my son's apartment has moved to Acapella too.
Don't worry the next time we come, we will invite you for tea at my son's place or we can have great breakfast at the Pasar Tani, that is if you are an early riser on a Sunday morning.

Salam Pak Zawi
Out of the mouth of babes!
Adults wouldn't dare say that, would they?
My late father didn't live long enough to see his first grandchild but a young cousin gave his piece of mind when no one was brave enough to tell him how awful his fart was.
Somehow, that cousin became my late father's blue-eyed nephew. He wasn't rude to him but polite enough to tell him off.
That's got to the old man's heart.

Pak Zawi said...

Fauziah,
Thanks for visiting my site.
We extol in them the virtues of speaking the truth and it is only right that the speak the truth. Until they are able to differentiate what is rude and what is not, we will have to suffer the consequence of their remarks be it in private or in public.
Telling them what is rude and what is not will be the learning process for them.
Your father missed the one phase of the life of a man, the grandfather's phase which is something really to cherish. Whatever we didn't manage to give to our own children we tend to give it to their children which made the grandparents guilty of spoiling the grandchildren. Can you blame us for that?

Salam Zawi,
That was good. Now I have in my list names of person or persons to tag, if I needed a good write up. Selamat menyambut Eiduladha.

Pak Zawi said...

Zabs,
Thank you for appreciating what I wrote. I thought I might have treaded on dangerous ground by writing things considered crude by some people's standard. I am glad you take it well.
Hey, just tag anybody you like, the worst that would happen is your tag will be ignored. Do you think you lose much by them doing that?
Selamat menyambut Hari Raya Idiladha. Maaf jua saya pohonkan.
