Nannying Duty In Shah Alam

Adam with his mum Ijjah.

Pak Zawi will be out of action from the 14th - 30th October 2009. It may not be totally out as I will still have the internet access since I will be staying at my son's place in Brunsfield Service Apartment in Section 13 Shah Alam. The action meant is from painting and gardening. They maybe slightly hampered and of course the gardening will be totally out.

The two weeks in Shah Alam will be spent looking after my 8th grandson Adam Hakimi, my son Azuan's first child. The reason is that his mum will be away for the duration to attend an induction course in Pangkor, Perak.

Pak Zawi being a pensioner, is the only person available for duty will do the job just like what Pak Zawi did for Balkis in Labuan when when her mum had to rejoin college full time. Only difference this time is Adam will be only 3 months old compared to Balkis being 4 months old.

Over the years of helping my sister with her first child and helping my own wife with our children, Pak Zawi has became adept at handling babies. So don't worry about whether Pak Zawi can handle the job of feeding, bathing and changing the nappies. Pak Zawi is an old hand at it.

While Pak Zawi is around KL, Pak Zawi would like to meet up with blogger friends who could make time to visit Pak Zawi in Shah Alam. Just give Pak Zawi a call at 0199125647 and Pak Zawi will come down to the lobby of Brunsfield Service Apartment (not far from Shah Alam Stadium) to meet up.

The Sunday morning market at Stadium Shah Alam is the best place to do your purchase of your kitchen's need. We could also meet up there for breakfast.

In a way Pak Zawi is happy to be going to Shah Alam because it will provide Pak Zawi with an opportunity to meet up with some blogger friends. On the other hand Pak Zawi feels sad to leave the other half all alone by herself which Pak Zawi had been doing for several years before retirement while working away from home. Leaving the small patch of the recently started vegetable gardening is unbearable too. As to painting, Pak Zawi will try to find time when Adam takes his sleep or simply paint beside him while he is resting in his crib or in his pram at the apartment's playing area. Of course Pak Zawi will be free when Adam's dad take over the nannying duty and he is not working.

OK my friends, lets meet. Pak Zawi promise you a cup of tea at least.

Pak Zawi the nanny? Definitely more trustworthy than a foreign maid!

dear pak zawi,

why not ask the other half to join you baby-sit the grandchild rather than leaving her alone in pasir mas!

oops..you may have other reasons for that.

salam pak zawi ,

saya cadangkan apa kata pak zawi ambik ilham kat pasar minggu kat stadium shah alam tu dan put it into your lovely painting ...

teringin nak jumpa pak zawi (20 min je dari rumah saya) tapi outstation pulak la weekend ni ...) hhmmmm

pB,
Kalu dekat gak mari la jegok tengok Adam lunch hour. Bawa nasi bungkus ayam kampong so sore hehehehe.

Pak Zawi said...

Pi,
Adam is sent to the minder daily so there is no way to send him over for two weeks. There is no way for a maid to be employed for two weeks.

cikgu zainab,
Just like Cikgu Zainab, Cikgu Fatthiyah is also a teacher so she can't leave her job unless it's the school holidays. Sigh...

Pak Zawi said...

Alif,
nenda bekerja tak boleh tinggal kerja. Nenda belah ibu Adam juga tak boleh tinggal rumah untuk 2 minggu.
InsyaAllah kita jumpa nanti.

Rizal (Jalan Rebung),
Wassalam.
InsyaAllah Pak Zawi akan cuba capture satu scene yang sesuai untuk di lukiskan.
Banyak weekend lagi. Cuba weekend berikutnya.

would love to meet up while you're here Pak Z. you're mere 15 mins away from where i live. will keep those dates in mind and see what can be arranged. lama tak jumpa, loads to catch up on.

Pak Zawi said...

Kerp,
Just 15 mins away? No reason not to meet up then. I will go to you. Just give me your location and directions. Not GPS location mind you. I don't have the gadget yet. need to sell more paintings to be able to afford it.

Weh, steady lah Pak Zawi, u setting a very hard act/standard for us men to follow leh. What else u cannot do, hah? Maybe breastfeeding ;). Now every woman in blogosphere will be telling their better half, “Hoi y can’t u be like PZ, the female ‘perfect male specimen’?”…hahaha. Your missus must be the luckiest woman in KB.

Parents’ definition of ‘Spoiled Rotten’ – What happens to your kids after a week with their grandparents.

Have fun brushing up your baby spik!

Salam,

Tommy,

P/S – Baby Adam do look a lot like u even at 3 months old, good to know there’s another PZ in the making.

Hajah Zainab bt Abdullah said...

dear pak zawi,

so that's the reason...unlike me, i have retired!

Pak Zawi said...

Kama,
Will be too happy to meet you and Pak Abu. Just call to confirm your arrival and Adam and Pak Zawi will there waiting for you.

Pak Zawi said...

Tommy,
Perfect specimen? I am trying to make up for the years of neglect to my family. My wife had been covering for my absence from home for many, many years when I had to play the role of weekend husband. How I wish I could do more to make up such as conceive a baby for instance hahahaha.
Adam does look like me? You must be kidding. I see his mum's face whenever I look at him.
I will make sure that he grows up a handyman like me in life. that is if I get to live long enough to see him grow up.

Pak Zawi said...

cikgu zainab,
Oh now I see the difference. She has to work till 58 so that she won't be bored being at home and I prefer her to be in school while I do my paintings. That way my inspirations won't be disturbed by a shout "Papa help me to do...." in the midst of my stroking my canvass with my paint brush hehehehe.

Salam Pak Zawi,

Er...rasayanya silap spelling tu kut. 'Nyanying (singing)' yang sebenarnya kut, lol! Mengusik je ye.

Pak Zawi said...

Shah,
Ada lagi satu perkataan Kelantan 'nganying' korupsi dari perkataan 'menganjing' kot yang bermaksud menyindir.
Shah bila pula nak main ngan baby?

Captain,
Kalau dok sekejap berseorangan atas pulau tu OK la, tapi kalau lama, sunyi gak.
I wont be going out much as I have to nanny Adam. I will be happy to take him for a stroll in his strollers on ground zero (They live on 13th Floor!)
The duration is for 2 weeks so no amount of mothers milk will be enough. Adam must be fed with the cow's milk for that duration.
Havent found my Epsom salt. Will have to get it in the city I guess.
Enjoy nature at it's best on Kapas.

we can meet up somewhere but if you dropby my place, we can always gatecrash uncle Bernard's house. so it'd be like killing 2 birds with a stone. whatever the plan is, i'm making it a point to meet up with you.

Pak Zawi said...

Kerp,
Agree with you on meeting Uncle Bernard. Whatever the plan I can only meet u on a nonworking day for my son as I need him to drive while I hold Adam.
It will happen, dun worry.

You are really great. Pak Zawi Boleh! Boleh belaka! Syukur, Allah mengurniakan kpd Pak Zawi sifat kasih sayang yg mendalam & tanggungjawab yg tinggi, terutama utk ahli famili. Khususnya sekarang, utk your extended family. Semoga sentiasa sihat utk berkhidmat!

Temuk,
Kita semua boleh buat jika kita sanggup mencuba. Masalahnya kita selalu kata kita tak boleh buat sebelum mencuba.
Saya perlu sihat untuk membantu keluarga dan juga untuk melukis :).

happy babysitting! i am sure the little one will love it!

Pak Zawi said...

Susan,
At 3 months old, I doubt that Adam Hakimi will even realize that he will be pampered to the fullest. The parents definitely will love it as they know he will be in safe hands.
